Today's recipe is so simple, you can even do it with eyes closed. It's for a staple that you can use in so many deferent ways, oven roasted chickpeas. 
Let's get right into it! 


  • 170 gr chickpeas 
  • cumin
  • oregano
  • pepper
  • paprika
  • curry powder
  • cayenne pepper 
  • olive oil 

  1. If you are using canned chickpeas, just drain them and put them strait into an oven tray. If not, put them in water for at list 4 hours, peel the skin off and cook them in a pot at medium heat until they are slightly soft. 
  2. After you have cooked the chickpeas, put them in an oven tray, and sprinkle the olive oil and the spices. Give them a good mix so every chickpea is covered by the spices. 
  3. Cook at 200oC for 35 minutes.
You can use them as mono meal, for wraps, for bowls, for salads or anything else you heart desires.
